Space exploration was all the rage in the 1960s. Culminating in the Apollo 11 space mission, when Neil Armstrong became the first human to set foot on the moon, the Space Race actually began after the Soviet Union launched the world’s first man-made object into the Earth’s Orbit (Sputnik). Did you know that the Moon wasn’t the only space destination?
